A bitter divorce battle won’t stop Madonna from moving forward with plans to adopt another child. The “Material Mom” has reportedly signed paperwork to adopt a 4-year-old girl from Malawi - the home country of her adopted son David.“She’s hoping to bring the toddler home by early next year,” a source told Star Magazine.
Madonna,50, will reportedly fly to Malawi with new companion Alex Rodriguez to pick up the girl, Mercy James, whose grandparents are unable to care for her.
“It breaks our hearts to know she will leave us, but adoption is best for her,” the girl’s grandfather said. Malawi had not permitted foreign adoptions until Madonna adopted David.
