WHAT A NAME ???

Am I the only one that didn’t know that Lisa Bonet of Cosby Show fame changed her name to Lilakoi Moon Lisa (40) and her boyfriend Jason Momoa (29) welcomed their second child Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa into the world a few weeks ago. Lisa also has a 20 year old (Zoe Kravitz) and 20 month old named Lola.
Which had me thinking. A friend of mine used to date this guy who was African and he was adamant that if they had a child, the child would have to have an African name. Since she was American, naturally she wanted her child to have an American name. Is there a happy medium or is this something you should find out early on in the relationship to see if it’s worth proceeding forward.
