FAITH MWAPE story..............

Faith Mwape at the University Hospital in Lusaka, Zambia on Friday, 16th January, 2009.

Eight-month-old Faith Mwampe suffers from having her undeveloped parasitic twin protruding from her buttocks. Scheduled for an operation on January 28th of this year, doctors at Zambia's University Teaching Hospital in the capital city of?Lusaka hope to remove the twin and give Faith a chance at a normal life. The operation will take five hours and is being undertaken by ten of Zambia's most qualified surgeons. Supported by the Zambian Government, Faith and mum Mercy are hopeful that the surgery will be a complete success.
