The creation of 24,000 new jobs at the site of the London 2012 Olympic Park has been confirmed.
The jobs boost was announced by Gordon Brown during a tour of the site in East London this morning.
The new vacancies mean a total of up to 30,000 workers will ultimately help build the Olympic Stadium and surrounding venues.
Mr Brown made the announcement at the launch of a Government sporting programme at Tottenham Hotspur FC's training ground in Chigwell, Essex.
