Lil Wayne has been detained in Texas by US border patrol agents.
The rapper, whose real name is DeWayne Michael Carter, Jr., and 11 members of his entourage were detained en route to Laredo, Texas from a concert in Hidalgo state on Friday after authorities found marijuana on two of his tour buses.
Lil Wayne is scheduled to begin a prison sentence in February stemming from gun charges in New York.
